Before I installed the dry sump tank, I decided to refit the belt tensioner and belt back onto the engine. In hindsight I could have left this till after the plenum was reinstalled.
The tensioner is installed with three simple bolts torqued to 7Nm (from the Ford workshop manual), so I only needed 1/4” drive tools.

I slipped the belt over the pulleys, leaving it off the water pump pully until I applied tension to the tensioner with a 17mm spanner. Once tension is applied, the belt can be slipped into place.
